Welcome to our new hire system
Welcome to our new website! It’s been a long labour this and there are a lot of differences but we hope you can get used to them! They will cut down on a lot of admin for us and allow us to be more aware of where all our slings are!
Our new rentals system is separate to our shop, it uses a seperate set of user accounts and a seperate shopping cart and payments system. So whilst you access is via our main site, remember you will need to log in separately when checking out to hire. We have moved across all the user accounts from our old site where possible, so fingers crossed you should find you can just reset your password if you’ve hired previously.
So, how to use our rentals system!
Go to our Hire A Sling page. This contains our hire system. You will land on a page with all the categories of slings we hire visible. Before you can hire anything, and to see availability of our catalogue you will need to put in your reservation dates at the top of the page. Remember the dates you are entering are the date we will post the sling to you and the date we need to receive the sling by so give yourself a little leeway. We charge the same for two weeks as two weeks and two days!
Once you’ve selected your dates just browse through the slings to find something you want to hire and is available on your chosen dates. If you need help choosing just ask! If it is available you will be able to click to enter the quantity, and then to add it to your cart. You may choose to add items such as suck pads, inserts, weather protectors and even membership here. You can hire multiple slings at once as long as all on the same dates, but if you hire more than we can get in one parcel (2 or occasionally 3) we will have to invoice for additional postage.
Once you are ready, click the blue cart button at the top of the Hire A Sling page. The black cart button will take you to the shop checkout rather than the rental checkout. At checkout if you have hired previously you can click I already have an account and reset your password – we should have pulled the rest of your details across! If not, just fill in your details and click Request a Reservation.
Ensure For Delivery is ticked (it should be, but lets just make sure!) and then select either Use My Address to use the address on file, or Enter a new address. Also enter any delivery instructions you have here. When it’s all entered, click Order For Delivery.
Your sling is now reserved, but to hold the reservation we need payment for the hire period in full. We DO NOT take deposits up front, the amount shown is for information only. Click the green Pay button at the bottom of the screen. Enter your card details – we only accept card payments at this time. Click Process and you’re done! The card details you enter here are saved, and the day before your hire is due to go out (or occasionally the morning of) we will charge the £40 deposit (if you are paying one) to this card as well. If you don’t want to do this please email us ASAP with your order number and we can arrange alternative methods.
