We've loved test driving this sling! It's so comfy that carrying our chubby baby about is so much easier! She's really comfortable tucked up in it and the built in sunshade/light rain cover is a real game changer! I have a 3yr old and was off to the Lake District camping. Had decided to not pack pushchair as we wanted to walk and explore, and he doesn't sleep in the day but has moments of wanting to be carried when tired. This sling was rolled up in our day rucksack and pulled out when he needed it. I didn't feel his 2 stone weight at all and he loved it. I never used a sling with him as a baby, so finding this site so easy to use was great. I recommend this material one with rucksack style straps as it was extremely comfortable. Many other mums commented on it and, like me, where amazed at the price for two weeks. Highly highly recommended. The fact it arrived the next day was a bonus but the sending back was just as easy. We were going on holiday and attending a wedding, so we were going to need to wear our 15month old. Unfortunately he's been very resistant to any kind of structured carrier and only likes wraps, but I needed something a bit more flexible to get him in and out quickly.nWe thought that the mamaruga zensling would feel like the beloved stretchy wrap we have, but be more supportive for poor daddy.nIt absolutely delivered! Tried the Ergobaby 360 as I had heard good things about it and with us having a nosy baby that doesn’t like to be put down I thought the option of the front facing carry would be good for us. We needed the carrier mostly for round the house, putting on to do school drop off and for the occasional longer walk around town. nnThe carrier itself was very easy to use and easy to get baby in and out of. It was a practical and well thought out design. Baby feels very safe and supported. There are however two major problems that I found. First was the carrier is extremely uncomfortable to wear for any length of time. I thought it may have just been me as I am on the smaller side (size 8-10) but my husband (6ft Large male) also said he found it uncomfortable. Second was it is so bulky it would be hard to have with you to simply throw on and carry the baby if you were out and about. It took up a lot of room in the car and the entire space under the pram. I also thought the colour/ appearance of the carrier was boring with no real character. nnWe did find it very helpful wearing it round the house as we had hands free to do chores but baby was cuddled and entertained. He loved the facing out option as it appealed to his nosy nature. I decided in the end after hiring this to purchase a Tula because even though the facing forward isn’t an option it’s so much more comfortable, will last baby longer and the designs are just gorgeous!! The Ergo is just too expensive to justify a purchase just for using in the house. The rental was really helpful. It was slightly soiled on arrival (in a hidden tucked away area) but an extension of hire was offered as apology and the matter was dealt with professionally and quickly. Sling arrived damaged! (broken buckle) BUT...excellent customer services, replacement item was posted as soon as possible, and the rental period extended to cover the lost days. Slings were both clean and no signs of wear and tear considering they were rental items. We visited the London Imperial War Museum for our eldest sons school topic. Taking 4 boys into London is hard work anyway without lugging a pram around, so my husband & I shared carrying our 2.5y old all day! He loves being close to us! I loved all the services and the fact that you can rent abd try a sling before you decide to buy it. nI chose Fidella Fly Tai due to beautiful colours and the practical side too. I have a 2month old baby and it was great I could adjust the carrier according to my baby's size. I am loving our ex-rental preschool denim Connecta. It has been nicely worn-in/softened and is perfect for my big and heavy 3 year old. We both find it very comfy and I’m loving using it! My little boy grew out of his baby carrier, I wanted to see how he got on in a Tula before committing to buying one.nHiring one was so easy and reasonably priced!! We loved our Manduca and now the kids are more mobile, were looking for a good sling to have to have for travelling on public transport and abroad without a buggy. Tried the Connecta a friend had but didn't work at all, especially for back carrying. I like to wear the sling low on the hip rather than high above the waist.nSaw the Boba Air but never thought to buy it because I read reviews about the straps and thought they would definitely make my shoulders/back hurt. When I saw they had changed the design a little, it seemed possible that it just might work.nThe It's a Sling Thing 30-day no quibble returns policy gave me the confidence to try it. Loved it! It's super easy to just pop into a shoulder bag or rucksack and my toddler and preschooler both feel comfortable in it. I can also wear my rucksack very comfort in front with the child on my back. It feels very familiar once it has a child in it, not much different from the Manduca, is very well made and I love how it packs compactly into the integrated pocket. A friend recommended a Connecta sling to me but I wanted to try one before I bought it, so I rented one for 2 weeks. I loved it and so do my sons so I bought one at the end of my rental. It was really easy to organise, quick, efficient & friendly would recommend Its a sling thing to anyone.
